 So I have some hash

I got some hash from a random internet stranger. I've never had hash before. I've never even seen it before.
I have a piece about the size of a $1 australian coin, a squashed flat coin shaped piece of black/browny kind of hash. no overpowering odour but has a slight perfumey scent to it.
So how much do I need to smoke to get high? I haven't smoked weed for a while, and don't smoke weed much at all in general.
Also, I have a glass vapour genie.. that i've been smoking DMT out of, will that be ok to smoke the amount you guys recommend? I'm expecting residual ass rapeage from leftover DMT in the pipe, too

Hash is wonderful. 
I normally measure out miniscule amounts then smoke hit-by-hit. It does not take a lot to get the job done and the compressed stuff will burn itself for a fair while.

I rolled it into a ball and it is a bit smaller than a normal sized marble.
so it will be safe through the vapour genie?
I'm looking forward to blasting this stuff out tomorrow

Ball of quality hash the size of a pencil eraser, or even half that, would keep me blazed for a number of hours (as someone who smokes all day).
I've never used a vapour genie specifically, but there should be no real issue to my knowledge. Pipe, bong or whip-style vape (Silver Surfer) all work great.
No guesses as to how the DMT in the vapour genie may affect things, though.
