Would you smoke this hash?

I have a suitcase full of shit (mostly roaches, seeds, and other garbage that can be smoked with some effort put into it) and I was just cleaning it out and organizing everything and i knew i had a little bit of hash somewhere in there.  Well i found it and the bag had been folded in half.  so half the bag is covered in mold and the other half looks fine.  So here's a picture and a poll.  Would you smoke the good portion of this bag?

I think you all are getting it right here.  :lol:  I found some fucking scissor hash in that suitcase from my last harvest.  All this shit is over a year old now.  Harvest was on 10/31/09 as i recall.  Must not have dried it all before sticking it in that bag.  fucking life lessons brah.

yeah me too!  I was just curious to see what everyone thought.  I guess it depends on how much other shit you got, how desperate you are.  When i first started cultivating mushrooms I inhaled a breath of some trich and that shit had me coughing up blood each morning for a while.  All good now though.  :bigblunt:

I was thinking about taking the good looking chunks out and doing something to them to try to kill any mold and then smoke it in my bong or something.  It sure wouldn't be worse than inhaling pure trich spores.  :lol:

You could maybe make oil with butane or alcohol? 99% alcohol should kill any mold, just make sure the hash dissolves, the mold might even float like it does when you make bubble from moldy buds.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

You could probably get away with it by soaking it in triclosan, which is the stuff they put in Joy dish soap, rinse, then even boil it and make cannabutter out of the remains.  But that's just me.

I would probably try the non moldy hash, and if it tastes fine maybe its an ok.

I personally cant keep hash longer then the night i get it haha, its my preferred smoke. So this is not a problem i've ever ran into.

Oh and you guys are being a little too paranoid.  The side that isn't moldy is totally fine, there is NO REASON not to smoke it, so long as you don't mess around with anything in the middle that is really close to the moldy half.  If you throw away the good portion of that bag I will be disappointed in you...

sounds awesome dude.  i haven't done them in probably like 2 years from when my buddy grew them.  he learned on shroomery and showed me the growery when it first started and i'm still here :lol:  I love that small dose sometimes more than a big dose.  A matter of timing and setting and all I think :shrug:

dry it longer next time, and cure it before you save it. It will have a more distinct flavor, and it will keep forever. The freezer works good too. Just makes it brittle for a minute. I can't remember who recomends the freezer, cervantes, or rosenthal, one or the other.

I was thinking too you could re spin that in a jar of hot water maybe, or cold depending on consistency of moldy hash(melt or crumble)and then strain and drain hoping the mold goes into the water and the hash is washed clean.

or maybe

Iso to dissolve in.Only enough to re-wet. Then wash in h2o. then dry?
I'm just not sure if you use iso 1st if you would bind mold to hash on a more molecular level.

Humboldt & BC folk sware by a water wash for removing mold. I duno myself. and then the added mold binding if you went iso.....ehhh

I would smoke the parts without mold without a doubt.

I highly doubt mycotoxins from the mold will travel through the hash, pretty sure it won't even travel from mold through mycellium even if the mold is directly growing on the myc.
