Trip: Maybe play with it a little bit more until you're happy with it, but also, it doesn't have to be perfect, if it is kinda hazy but realistic, the web address below will clarify what it says.
I think the goal should be the realism.

I'll play around with it a little later tonight I can see how it could be hard to read, especially the "Y" in growery. I like the one sided idea. But I also like the two sided idea.

That lettering looks great! Unfortunately, my efforts have been halted. My computer is dead and I don't have the dough for a new one just yet. sorry everyone. I still want to do it when i get a new comp.

the first letters looked more like they were developed from the smoke. The second one looks like a text overlayed on top of the smoke.

The dark background is clearer.
I think as long as the actual web address is printed in a good size font below that, the effect of the smoke is really cool.

Alright, do you guys want front and back? or do you want 2 separate cards? I say front and back but that's just me. And if you do want front and back, what do you guys think the back should say. So I don't have to type it out a bunch. Just say it on here and when we are in agreance I will put it on there.

Here's the OP for those who don't want to read the entire thread.
Hey Growery!
Coming up here very soon we're gonna start a big marketing campaign to bring new members to the Growery.
The first phase is going to be distribution of some 4x6 cards at various events including concerts, festivals, and cannabis related rallies.
We'll talk more about the details once they're printed, but
WE WANT THE MEMBERS HERE TO GET INVOLVED!
So, those of you who are so inclined, please use this thread to submit your idea for the advertising cards.
The card will have two sides, the front should be eye catching and can be anything from personal art, to photoshop work, or anything else you can think of. The front should have "The Growery" somewhere on it, and possibly the "Marijuana Demystified" phrase found on the homepage.
The back should have some references or bullet points regarding what we're all about: Cultivation, Activism, Socializing, etc...use your imagination.
Let's see what kind of talent we've got floating around here Growery!

I'll work on it SB...just met a dude who owns a printshop, so maybe we can work something out.
I'm want to finish the initial project in this thread, and then move on to the next one.
FB: Any chance you'll have the ability to finish a card concept anytime soon?
Tripto: I'm all for the front and back idea. Let's keep the back simple though like: We help spread accurate information about marijuana so people can make informed decisions about what they put in their bodies. You can learn about the effects of weed, find out how to grow pot, browse through the gallery and hang out on our message board, come enjoy the site and see everything that the Growery has to offer!
Use the smoky background, a big green pot leaf under the paragraph, and the website address and call it good!
