I just wish I still had those workbook they made us do. All of those cartoon drawings of lowly social degenerates hanging out in dingy alleys trying to push needles onto any unsuspecting young school child that crossed their paths. I bet those pictures would be absolutely hilarious now. I also remember those scenarios we would have to act out in front of the class where the dealer would offer us drugs and we would refuse and then "call the cops" lol that shit was great.

My class never did that, or have a workbook.

I graduated in dare in 5th grade too. Then three months after my high school graduation my DARE officer busted me for possession of the ganja. That mofo really pissed me off. He got a report that we were smoking up so they followed us and cornered me into a gas station. I don't remember the interactions we had but he found some herb under a seat and said, "And BINGO was his name-o!" I wanted to run over there and spit in his face. Anyway, he did a great fucking job with the whole dare thing [/heavy sarcasm], maybe he just came to that realization and decided to be an extra big dick. Found out a few years later he got capped in the shoulder.
