 efferdent to clean a glass bowl

my friend told me yesterday you can use efferdent, the shit for cleaning dentures, to clean pipes.
put your pipe in a glass of hot water and drop in an efferdent tablet he says
anyone tried this?

personally i just like to use iso alcohol and salt.
never used anything else. if it's a water piece sometimes you need to use that shit that makes dishes shiny and takes off the calcium build up. cascade...
i've heard grunge off works well if you wanna spend a lot of money.

yeah he said efferdent works better than alcohol and salt.
ima try it out and report back. the people at walgreens are gonna think i have false teeth now
among other things they have come to think of me by the weird products i have purchased for various drug applications.

as far as salt + alcohol. it works well, always worked for me. just close up all the holes on the piece with your fingers or anything. pour some salt in and iso alcohol and shake it around. use little pipe cleaners for hard to get places (i used q-tips once). if it's a small piece you can do this in a plastic baggy because if its very bad you have to let it sit. bigger pieces are harder... bongs are simple.

I use acetone since I always have some on hand anyway. Best results of anything I've ever used.

I use it too. Pure high grade acetone leaves no residue to rinse. It is the rinse. Just make sure it is completely evaporated before sparking up and going WOOSH!

Yup. I wasn't planning on it but decided to give it another shot for whatever reason.  Maybe things will go better this time. I think I stepped into some shit last time. Imma try to keep them clean this time if folks will let me.
