So, everywhere you read you see to water the plants when there's about an inch and a half of dry soil at the surface. but how much water should actually be given to a plant during a watering?
I give mine just enough water to start coming out the drainage holes in the pots. Then let it dry back out before watering again.
Edit: I usually use my pointer finger up to the first knuckle to test moisture,which is about an inch down. If its dry down that far i will water again.
