Would earthworms help aerate the soil for a potted plant?

I can't see why they wouldn't... But I highly doubt you will be able to keep the worms alive in there for very long as they need food and such. You may be better off adding a bit of extra perlite in my opinion.

i wouldnt call my self a worm farmer but it doesnt take alot to keep them alive. Used coffee grounds a few egg shells and news paper shreding kept a 12 gal tote full kickin for three months now. believe they're multiplying in fact. not to mention the average feild soil now looks rich.
