 Dealing with dealers.

Wow its been a while since I made a post, but I would like to hear you good people's opinion on how I should tackle this situation...considering you guys are either dealers or deal with them all the time.
So a casual acquaintance friend (dealer), he is close friends with my close friend. Now, I texted him (the dealer) to see if he was selling, and he replied that I should call him later since he is picking up stuff later that night.
So I called, and for some reason it didn't work cause my phone is being shitty, so I sent him a text saying: I tried calling, lemme know whats up call or text me. He never got back to me yesterday, and hasn't yet. My bud agrees that it is annoying dealing with him. (You would think a dealer would be more happy to oblige since they are making money).
ANYWAYS, I want my stuff asap, so now I need help on what to text or say to him...I don't wanna sound annoying and naggy...
Thoughts, feelings, ideas?

 Well that sicks! It's never good when one wants bud cant get bud! But sounds like you're getting the run-a-round or since ur phone dont work and all you can do is text, mayby got him paranoid. I have buddies who wont answer any text back concerning the goods. Well gosh if ya was a local i'd help out. Not to sure what you could text to get said friend to answer- mayby he didnt get his stuff and just wont answer then phone when he's out.

I am thinking he just got to hanging out with folk, or something. He is one of those guys who just kinda ignores and forgets, which is why I would like to remind him...
I guess I don't want him to think I am some annoying bitch, I am not very assertive as is, so it takes a lot for me to work up the courage to ask for drugs. 
I just want to make brownies, and perfect recipes for when my significant other arrives to please his belly.

Dealers usually don't care about the buyers I have no clue why.

It is so weird too, cause I got stuff from him like, 2-3 weeks ago, and he told me to let everyone know he is "open for business". So you would think he'd be excited to hear from "customers".
Also its funny cause we are not strangers lol, I have known him since kindergarten, rofl...

Sounds a lot like my close friend. It's cool because we are close friends so a large supply of dank is always just a phone call away. But for those who are his more impersonal consumers, they get less priority, and thus, sometimes come up short and empty-handed.
Hopefully you get some dank soon! If not, I'll burn a bowl in your name, bananatelephone. If only I could telekinetically transfer my high to you...

It isn't so bad, I am just kinda neurotic, so I have troubles asking people for drugs, and I always feel bad cause my connections are "friends" and I can be a pushover.
What I need is a straight up dealer who I don't have to make small talk talk with, get in get out, no awkward friendliness.

I know that feeling all to well. My friends ask me to hook them up knowing I don't deal. But I still feel bad when I can't help them out. I wish we could just go to the store and get what we want. That would make things easier for everyone. Tho the price would most likely be high as hell.

lol yea, I am not nearly educated enough in growing to try it out for reals, last summer I was going to try and have a couple plants and test my green thumb cause a friend was giving away plants. But alas they killed them before I could try.

botany isn't about the ability to grow. it's about knowlege of how plant anatomy and such. i hear some botanists know the scientific name of thousands of plants yet can't grow worth shit.

Seems you already know but just arent accepting it.
Most dealers suck.
They are usually not prompt, don't get back to you, give you the runaround, and dont return calls.
You can probably get away with sending one more text saying you dint hear back from him. Dont be explicit, just ask him i it's a good time to drop by. Don't send more than one message every 6-10 hours and if you havent heard back after 3-4 wait it out.
Yes it sucks. But hey, if you were a dealer you would have th luxury of doing shit on your terms.
I'd call some of the sketchier connects and see who gets back to you first. I find dealers become more reliable when you tell them you grabbed your q,half,oz from someone else. Just be polite and ask if they'll have some in a month or whatever.
Once they realize there is competition they tend to work a little harder for the sale.
Other than that keep shoppin around until you find a good combination of quality and reliability. Maintain at least a pseudo ongoing relationship with the dealers. And the closer you get the easier shit happens.
But everyone already knows that.
...its just complaining is the only thing you can do when ur dry.

My close friend sells lots of weed and
he deals with people all the time. people
are always calling him. Every single
person has their own schedule and most
people expect their dealers to be on the
same schedule all the time. Personally i
like to have more then one good weed hook
up close to home so if one guy is out or
you cant get a hold of him you can always
call ur other dude, also most dealers get
so many texts that they forget about them
so its usually better to call unless they
tell you to text. im high atm... rambling

How did you word the message? You might have pissed him off if you were too blunt... txt msgs are stored on a server after all. Most people I know do not like getting txt msgs regarding business.
