soooo......
i've wanted to grow for years but never had the space or the liberty to do so but now after moving from Israel to Spain and finding an apartment in an old old building in Barcelona i have a roof... the law about growing here isn't too strict and lots of people do it with no sense of fear so i'm sure i'll have no problems!
yesterday after a very nice dinner with some close friends we each (four of us) planted a seed named after us, we put it first under our toungs and made a wish... a very fitting ceremony for my first grow!
i'm not expecting much as i don't really somke these days, it's more for the hobby i guess. so i'll be keeping it REALLY basic, nothing fancy... except maybe to use a whick style system for watering!
we'll see... i still have to find some good pots and soil for when they sprout and grow a little.
wish me luck my friends!
(i hope i'll have at least one female)
oh and one of the people living in this building already started a grow about a week or two ago, i could see his small babies from the roof and then i met him, he'll be moving his babies to the roof too so hopfully if ever needed he can water my plants for me and vice versa

I've seen weed grown in Barcelona before, and it turned out gorgeous. I'm sure just the sun itself will make for some awesome plants

well... turns out those 4 seeds were not viable so i used two seeds i found in what we were smoking now (two is all there was) and they both germinated.
one got shamefully elongated (i should have put it on the roof by now but i'm too lazy to go up there all the time just to see how it's doing) and the other one popped out yesterday, for now they're both in the balcony but there's not too much direct sun unfortunately...
once i find some pots to transplant to i'll put them both on the roof.
as for pics, there's really nothing to see so far, i'm kinda sad my four original ones didn't germinate, all the ceremonial crap just to be waiting and waiting with nothing to show for it...
i still haven't given up on two of them, but i doubt if they will ever germinate.
so, quite a novice foolish start but yeah, it's just a weed hehe

pics soon... our elongated one is the only surviver thus far, it moved to the roof finelly where it´s struggling with the elements (we have it suported against the wind and it seems to be enjoying the sun) i´ve cut it´s head off to make it more stalky and it´s growing from six points now... it´s seems to be liking it´s new home.
today we put two more seeds to germinate, hopfully these will pop out soon and we could move them too to the roof (i´m afraid to grow just one and have it turn out male...)
so yeah, pics soon...

i never thought i'd have any trouble germinating seeds but these are pretty old and i figure it's too late in the season anyway so we're going a head with only one survivor (it better be female!!!)
she's having a hard time with the wind but looks happy, i took some more photos today but i'll be posting ones from a few days ago (the other computer is not available and i can't upload or edit...)
i'm thinking to move her into a big big container, it had a couple of plants inside it and been siting for a long long time on the roof so i'm thinking to just clear the shit and stick her there where she can grow as big as she can. the only problem might be having to use a lot of water and hauling it up to the roof all the time.
so finally some pictures to share, enjoy.

well, it's sad but what ales can you do?
two days ago it was turned into cannabutter, most unprofessionally, i got about half the butter i put in and it's very dirty 
but if you look closely at the photo you can see the new hope, sure a female no? if it actually flowers it will be very small, but that's good enough for me, if not and it might survive the winter.... hummm it would be a giant!
ehhhhhhhhhh
