I just bought a Colt Cobra 38SP for $200. It is worth at least $700.. not a scratch on it. Any gun collectors here? I'll post pics tomorrow. The gun is in absolute pristine condition. Bought it off of some crack head. He probably stole it but it doesn't matter. Here in Texas it is legal to buy and sell guns from just about anyone. If I get caught with it all I have to say is I bought it from some dude. hahah, Texas is the shit!

I'll post pics tomorrow morning. Colts are highly sought after because they don't make guns anymore, except for the military. Thanks. I'm going to go shoot it tomorrow if the weather permits. It's supposed to be 80% chance of rain, but in Texas 80% is more like 40%. Thanks man.

Upon further review, it does have a little blueing wear on the end of the barrel and on the business end of the cylinder from someone carrying it in a holester.
I forgot to tell you guys the guy a bought it from thought it was a S&W.... What a fucking idiot.

I looked up the S/N and the gun was either made in 78 or 79. Someone took pretty good care of it other than the asshole that put it in a holster. He probably didn't know that Colts would be collectors items back then. Probably paid $175 for it. I doubt I'll get to shoot it... raining like fuck outside

The blueing is around 98%. Why would I want to reblue it? It decreases the value of the gun unless a pro does it. Most gun dealers can look at a gun and tell if its been re-blued. Hard to beat a factory Colt blueing job.

I've got a bunch of Colts and would probably sell this one. I tried to call one of my boys and see if he would trade me some smoke for it, but he isn't answering the phone. I'd take a half pound for it. Cobras are going for around $600 on gunbroker right now. Even the ones that are rough are going for 3 or 4.

I'll take whatever I can get my hands on. I didn't necessarily say I was trading it for $600. I used to be able to get a HP for $200. Nowadays I'm a family man and don't really have the hook-ups like I used to. I don't come accross to much of the good shit in Texas.
