I've read that stressing plants can produce more males but I don't know how true this is. I was wondering, if you top (prune) some plants would this cause enough stress to the plants to increase the male to female ratio? I know that topping the plants doesn't always increase the yield but the reason I ask is because I believe that two smaller colas would be better than one big one with the objective of reducing bud rot victims. Thanks in advance.
