There is public park land near my house that I could plant on. I have 200+ seeds and was wondering how well they would turn out if I planted them directly in the ground. I may dig small holes and fill with potting soil to give the seedlings a better chance. I wouldn't be able to tend to the plants very much. I might could see them every week or two. Is it worth it?
Public parks generally get a lot of traffic, you will most certainly lose a major portion to cops, rippers, and other concerned citizens... I would try to find a better spot if I were you.
How about public trails and the like, Any of those? Any time you grow outdoors its better to start the plants off indoors first, seedlings don't last very long outdoors usually so you will get a lower plant number but it can be done. Also, you will certainly want to enrich the soil a bit if you plan on planting in the ground. Forest soil isn't usually all that rich and cannabis is a nutrient hog. You can use time release fertilizers as well, especially if you don't plan on visiting very often.
