i just strated 3 plants from bagseed. i germinated them with the paper towel method. after that i put them in small paper cups (with hearts). i put holes in the bottom and filled them with potting soil. right now they are about 2 inches tall and the cups are in a tupperware container with about 1 inch of water in it. they are sitting right by a window. i plan to take them outside eventually. when is the best time to do this? what should i do next?
There are a lot of other threads that give details on this sort of thing, I would look there first. weather is the most un predictable force we have, so don't fall for anything. If you can just go to lowes and get a 12 dollar 90 watt fouros spot light with a reflector/spring clamp found in the electrical section, you can make the mary jane love you back until the weather is well past frost worries.
