Question for a outdoor grow op.
    #28828 -

SWIM asked me the other day and asked if it would be very easy to grow pot in florida he knows he has plenty of sunlight down there but he was wondering if it would be a issue with the 90+ temps that frequent during the days of the summer? thanks ahead for the help

I don't think higher temperatures are a problem as long as the relative humidity stays high enough. Keep in mind that cannabis thrives in places like Colombia, Afghanistan, Thailand, etc.

i would imagine florida as the perfect climate for sativa. indica on the other hand, you might find yourself with some mold issues with constant high humidity and daily afternoon showers.

FL grows phenomenal MJ with very little influence. dont forget your nutes, and poper measures to keep pests away.

but as far as too high of humidity on the indicas. its never been a problem for me as far south as the everglades. but if youre really that worried get one that is fairly mold resistant.

go check out Sirius video on uvb from the sun, i think if i saw it correctly, FL is the only state in the continental US that recieves the BEST amounts...

yay for FL.

goodluck, and outdoor is the way to go in FL. dont worry so much about strain choice, i never have

the only reason i mentioned mold is that i have a strain that is very susceptible even up here in new england.  it would be the first thing i would worry about when growing down there in the swamps, but that's probably just from personal experience and paranoia.

everyone always talks about the humidity in FL, well i never felt it. we have a constant Gulf breeze which keeps the stickiness off you.

im in TX now, and its miseably sticky...like i dont want to go outside.

and growing up in MO, the ozarks are so humid its STUPID...like......stupid

FL always did right by me for any strain outdoors.
