ok i was thinking that since the first 3-4 weeks of budding plants dont need as much light as the last 4. So what i was thinking about trying is to bud the first 4 weeks with cfl's and then the last four weeks with my hps because if i did it that way i could harvest every month. what do you think?
I was going to say just stick with the HID until I read the last sentence. You will lower your total harvest each month by not giving them the best possible light but in the long run, the grower with the fastest, smaller yields, yields more.
You will have to do some experimenting to dial the system in fully but it is entirely possible that you will yield more this way than single large yields infrequently. As always, try to get the most possible CFLs for the best light (or better yet another HPS.)
ok well i think im going to try the flourescents and when i get a bit more money i think ill get one of those 150 watt micro hps lights and see which way yeilds more. i appriciate the input
