I have some clones, I had gotten them from someone who had no idea what they where doing. So for starters they had 7 clones in a old coffee container with no soil and ontop of that they have a tap root that's atleast a foot long. It also had mites and dirt/soil all over it.
I immediatly transplanted it and gave it some light. It appears to be in vegetive still. It took to the transplant/ But there's still some problems as I suspect it might have some sort of fungus.
Ontop of that, yesterday I put it out for sun and it got too cold and a couple of the sides started drooping.
Should I just trash this baby? cause it looks alot better than it did when I first got it.
You need to neem oil them pronto for those spider mites, or rinse with warm soapy non antibacterial water. They need more nutes as well. What soil you got them in? I would add some 20-20-20 fert at one 1tsp/gallon to perk them up. If you suspect root rot fungus, let the soil dry out as much as possible before plants droop, then water with normal water, wait 10 min, then water with fert water.
I have them in kelogs soil, its a low ration soil but its good. it has bat guano and fish emulsion in it and chicken shit. I also have some alaska fish emulsion in liquid form. I have already sprayed it down with a safer soap/peroxide solution. The only lights i have are floro's. How many 80 watt flouro's would I need to get a decent yeild?
You have a lot of N nutes in your soil but not enough P and K. You could add ashes to up K, but really you are not going to have much of anything organic to add to up P without needing to compost it first (like bonemeal). I would recommend using some 'bloom' chemical fert that is like 5-30-30 or somewhere around that ratio and use at 1tsp solids per gal and water each plant with it every time you water (should be about every 3-4days).
Fluoro's just really suck compared to HID lights, but you can still get something with about 200w worth of them in a 3'x3' space.
get rid of the mites and feed 'em a well balanced pitcher once or twice.......simple.......ive had mites twice in my years of being a patient,,,,tried garlic, chili spray and neem, PITA, went and scored some avid. death was swift and efficient, just dont use when flowering.
