I think this forum might get much bigger.
Shroomery needs to take action right now though, because what happens now will determine what kind of forum this is a year from now.
We need community forums, good moderation, and things of that like to raise the general intelligence level.

You can't expect a huge repository of knowledge to develop overnight. Every couple of hours someone posts a really good thread in those forums though. I'm sure they will start to add up eventually...

Grasscity bring up a great story that I'm probalby not going to be able to tell properly cause my mind will start to wander.
Anyways, a while back I was a member at grasscity and a bunch of problems arose. A large group of "respectable" members began getting upset with the moderators for acting very uptight and not letting things flow nicely.
There were posts being deleted and locked left and right started by these members and eventually bannings were being handed out left and right and the rules became really strict concerning post content and all that.
The members that were either banned or sick of it there, me being one, left and created TheJoint.com. It was actually pretty popular and fun while it lasted but something happened which forced us to change the name to Mindifidoaj.com.
Grasscity was well aware of our new forum and they weren't happy about it. There was arguing all over on both of the forums. Grasscity eventually became known as pederasscity and a lot of people from the new forum were making photoshopped pictures of members and a bunch of other shit which evenutally led to the grasscity "owners" or whatever threatining a lawsuit towards whichever company Mindifidoaj was owned by.
What a boring post, I hope no one reads this.

I've used the GC forum before for information but never really got involved in the 'community'. There's some nice pics/info on there but the people here are definatly more chill. Whole lotta rookies on there, hopefully the coolest people from all growing sites eventually come here  . What I'd like to see is a reincarnation of Overgrow...

Grasscity forums have the highest rate of being ignored EVER. you CAN NOT get a damn question answered over there in a timely manner, it's annoying as shit. I love this site way more already, there's fewer posts, but a few VERY active members with a ton of experience who are online to answer questions....well, practically constantly

grassshity is crap, the mods push thier wieght around to close threads that they personally dont like.some of the people on there dont know what they are talking about. grant it there are some nice and educated people on there but its not ANY of the moderators.they got problems with phioshers and i hope that problem escaltes into something serious.
them banning people over childish crap.i was banned not for anything legit but for defending myself against a slew of ignorance.my friend in a different state made an account and he refrenced my name in a thread and got banned. thats completly rediculous!people i know that ordered through thier site has never gotten what they ordered or it too literally months.screw that site and screw the mods and admins. growery.com is where its at.
