While the harvest may be small. The knowledge acquired is great.

The 1st plant turned about 50% red hair. So I thought now is a good time to sample. A friend and I bonged up a 1/2 gram. Still stoned 2 hours later.

Last update on this grow. Day 91

Still running the light12/12. Some plants are slow as far as hairs turning red.

Will Keep the light on for a few more days.

Have gotten 9 seeds so far. Might of been that herm. Don't know, I watched so hard for males. Will try and see if they will germinate. Just want to know if they are good. Don't want to work with this strain(of bag seed) any more. Not what I'm looking for.

Learned alot on my 1st hps grow. The plants grew so much faster with hps than fluorescent and the buds were so much thicker.

Again Thanks to ALL.

Only 9 seeds is a blessing, it allows you to become a true cultivator, a creator of the ultimate marijuana strain in your opinion.  Looking great so far man.  Burned plants suck, i know.  Can't wait to see results.

How do you plan to cure your pot?  Cedar box or Jelly-jar ?

I may post a last pic. The plants look sick. Not really proud of the results. I am learning.

Jelly jar. I have a few left from my days at the Shroomery.

Last pic

I can only guess what went wrong But the bud coming off these plants is better than what came out of the bag.

OK, I smoked a few plants.

Learning, thats why I'm here.

Not only could grow variables affected the outcome of your bud; but the bud produced by your plant will not be the same as what came out of your bag, not even the same strain.  When you found the seed from the bag in the beginning, the plant which had the seed was polonized (most likely anyways) by a male of a different strain.  So in theory only half of the genetics from the old bag will be carried over.  IMO.

Also generally when you see those "foxtails" on the top of main colas where they start to just get skinny/stemmy it tends to mean there is not likely any more worthwhile growth from the plant. (as far as this harvest anyways).  IMO

Also, did you clip all all the fan leaves off, or did they slowly die away?

Good luck!

They fail on there on.Weather it was bad soil,ph or I over did the ferts trying to correct things. I don't Know.

The clons are dong the same thing. Two of them are in sand from outside an two are in Fox Farm Ocean Forest

The two on the left are in sand, two on the right are Ocean Forest.

edit: The two in Ocean Forest have the better looking color

This shit starts on the bottom leaves and works it way up. In the end the healthly plants did the same thing. Wish I new why.

Well by any means you should transplant the third one from the left, look at all the roots at the bottom of the cup!  Their growth can really be hindered when the roots don't have enough room to stretch and grow.

I know. Both the Fox Farm plants are doing this but sence these plants are showing the same problem as the mom. I don't think I want to work with them. Waste of time IMO. I have order seed ,with luck I will see them any day. Damn sure don't want to pass any probem on to them.

Stick to the ocean forest alone next time. Who knows what kind of foreign contaminants and diseases you bring in from outdoors with that junk. Not only that but sand is a terrible soil because of how little nutrients it will hold.
