How fast is your computer? Reason I ask is...Is that mine is 2ghz(I know kinda slow but I got this one couple years back have a new one now) with 4 gb of ram, and that son of a bitch still lagged. I know a lot about computers, and it was terrible...Maybe some of their updates fixed some of the issues, but fuck that shit.
I promise you will be happier with XP, but most users will be happy with vista...I'm just real picky. The media center part is awesome, but I can do it in linux with MythBuntu / MythTV. One of the upsides is if your video card freezes it can recover...In XP is usually won't.
What video card did you get?
