i got a new laptop which im posting from now. havent been keeping up on the growery in awhile because i left my desktop back at school.
its a dell inspiron 1525. im really enjoying it thus far.

i got a couple pair of shoes a lot of cloths fitted hats sum money and i got a letter in the mail from the Department of Human Resources saying that had found my dad he owes 17 years worth child support and i will get his income tax check but even that 1,000 dollar check will not be enough ill be geting 100 week till im like 36 and im 19 unless he quits work

Put opensuse on your dell and dual boot it with windows xp. I have one of the same laptops...Mine is a little older, but still the same...I fucking hated vista...Holy son of a bitch. I broke my monitor twice I was so fucking mad.

I got a new camera. We don't do much for christmas just for the kids...But I was surprised this year with a pretty nive dvd camera. Has a zeiss lens. I was happy.

How fast is your computer? Reason I ask is...Is that mine is 2ghz(I know kinda slow but I got this one couple years back have a new one now) with 4 gb of ram, and that son of a bitch still lagged. I know a lot about computers, and it was terrible...Maybe some of their updates fixed some of the issues, but fuck that shit.
I promise you will be happier with XP, but most users will be happy with vista...I'm just real picky. The media center part is awesome, but I can do it in linux with MythBuntu / MythTV. One of the upsides is if your video card freezes it can recover...In XP is usually won't.
What video card did you get?
