Hey, I am trying to find out how long it takes from once you plant to see pre-flowers appear, and be able to flower your plant. Anyone know?

Probably like four to six weeks I guess, but it would depend on the strain and growing conditions to some extent.

strain dependent, maybe. Depending on your method of growing? Doesn't affect it.
Preflowers show between the 4th and 6th week usually.

He might have meant how well one grows, not the specific method one grows with. At least that is what I meant when referring to grow conditions. Wouldn't various environmental stresses inhibit growth and maturation?

well, yes, you stress a plant out enough it will either die, stall, or stunt its growth. What he said last means to me the method you are using to grow, not how well the grow is going.

Naturally pre-flowers occur about the 4th week of vegetative growth. That means around 6-8 weeks from germination.
