Thanks, the apartment situation has been most stressful because I have to file for a release from my dorm lease and hope that gets approved and find somewhere to live all in the same time. Its driving me insane

yeah thats definitely true, i was just responding to the blanket statement "opiates are bad for u." They can be bad for you (very easily) but they don't necessarily have to be. i've used opiates for about a year and a half and its never become an excessive thing.

That's how it happened to my friend. And he is in complete denial that he has a problem. He tells me that I buy it as much as he does (which is a full blown lie). His gf, his friends, and his family all tell him he is fucking up his life and he thinks we are the problem.

I used to use once a week or so. Last week when I was home for thanksgiving I was fucked up for 5 days straight without break  .
5 days ain't much doing opiates, but keeping a constant high those 5 days is.
Opiates are sneaky that's for sure.

yeah that's why i have always been extra careful, my usage frequency would probably be once a month on average for the time span i've been using them. Generally weaker op's, oxycontin, percocet. Heroin i've only done once, for about a day and a half straight with 2 friends. We were speedballing at first but the coke ran out before the h did.

I recently started IV and that's why I'm quitting. Along with the fact I'm broke.
Tar is so fucking nasty and that is all that is around here. Up back at home is the china white which is much cleaner.

I'm glad I can't handle opiates. I railed a couple of morphines a couple of weeks ago. A couple of hours of nodding followed by hours of puke fest wasn't worth it. Just not my thing and that's a good thing I'm sure. 5 - 10 or so mgs of OC works as a keep awake and energized thing for me but that is about as much as I can enjoy. I do have my other vices though.

If you have a tight relationship with them and you know they would support you in the ups and downs that can be a great thing. If all they will do is browbeat ya then better leave them outta that loop. You know your relation with them though. I don't Hopefully it's the aforementioned type. Hard for me to put myself in your shoes. I have to dig back. These days I've got kids gaining interest in a lot of things. Kinda weird being on this end but I'm committed to doing a better job than my parents. I think all caring parents are like that but it's a hard line to define sometimes.

LOL know that feeling. Like NIN in many states for many reasons but way back in the dxm syrup days it was the only thing to ride me past the nausea as it faded into the trip. Matched the intensity harmoniously. lol

Hadn't noticed. Thanks for that whatever it is. I'll check it out tomorrow. I'm really more or less stunned that I apparently found that many things to post about in the past month or so here. Hadn't been watching my post count at all. lol I've been mostly dormant here since 4/20.

4:15 here out west, I might head into work an hour early and see if I cant get away with putting in a half day or something. (well I know I can, if not I will just walk out)

I'm actually doing great in all my classes so far. I dropped a class earlier in the quarter but that doesn't count against me or anything. I'm hoping for a 3.2-3.5 this quarter depending on how finals go.

Im doing alright. Started off real strong but slowly fizzled out. Hopefully end the semester with around a 3.0 depending on final.
