I think every junkie says that in the beginning. Everyone I've ever known anyway. It's been true for some but, how does one know they will be one of those? They don't.

yeah thats definitely true, i was just responding to the blanket statement "opiates are bad for u." They can be bad for you (very easily) but they don't necessarily have to be. i've used opiates for about a year and a half and its never become an excessive thing.

That's how it happened to my friend. And he is in complete denial that he has a problem. He tells me that I buy it as much as he does (which is a full blown lie). His gf, his friends, and his family all tell him he is fucking up his life and he thinks we are the problem.

I used to use once a week or so. Last week when I was home for thanksgiving I was fucked up for 5 days straight without break  .
5 days ain't much doing opiates, but keeping a constant high those 5 days is.
Opiates are sneaky that's for sure.

yeah that's why i have always been extra careful, my usage frequency would probably be once a month on average for the time span i've been using them. Generally weaker op's, oxycontin, percocet. Heroin i've only done once, for about a day and a half straight with 2 friends. We were speedballing at first but the coke ran out before the h did.

I recently started IV and that's why I'm quitting. Along with the fact I'm broke.
Tar is so fucking nasty and that is all that is around here. Up back at home is the china white which is much cleaner.

I'm glad I can't handle opiates. I railed a couple of morphines a couple of weeks ago. A couple of hours of nodding followed by hours of puke fest wasn't worth it. Just not my thing and that's a good thing I'm sure. 5 - 10 or so mgs of OC works as a keep awake and energized thing for me but that is about as much as I can enjoy. I do have my other vices though.

both good reasons, ur lucky ur doing it now after only a short time with the needle, and 5 days being constantly loaded, I'm sure that's an awful comedown, but it could be a lot worse.
