I got some big pieces of root bark and I all of them are around one foot and the pieces need to be very small so they dont clog up my coffee grinder.

I break it up with my fingers too, I like handling the bark. But it does wear on the fingers a bit.

Deathklok did it on metalocalypse last week SWIM is not a fan of snuff but was thinking about doing an A/B extraction and getting the active alks out that way and smoking them.

I've tried the snuff prepared from the raw seeds, quite effectively. For an extraction, 69Ron (at the DMT Nexus) has a method based on precipitation of bufotenine citrate in acetone... I tried a small-scale extraction, and the precipitation definitely works, but bufotenine freebase seems to be a difficult-to-work-with goop unless you have ethyl acetate to recrystallize.

harsher? i've smoked harsher things yes.
if you like the smell of burned plastic on your lungs and airways, go for it. i hate it myself. even after eating and brushing my teeth it was still there for hours.

sounds like you've never smoked it. next time extended the mouthpiece of the device you are smoking it out of. you can see the residue on it.

the only thing i smoke is weed. (currently i don't)
i eat very healthy.
all organics, very little processed food.
very strict 'diet'.
i barely drink any alcohol these days.
i exercise/workout every day.
i drink plenty of water.
i like to be healthy, feel healthy, look healthy.
excuse me for not liking a residue that smells and tastes like burned plastic all in my mouth/throat/lungs.
you can call me a sissy all you want, but it is my personal opinion.

also my product wasn't the cleanest it could be (was free) and was done through an extraction. i hear synthetically made or washed and recrystallized extractions are the best with the least smell of burnt plastic.

A simple freeze precipitation removes almost all impurities and leaves you with a smoke that honestly doesnt taste very bad nor is harsh on the lungs. It will leave the room smelling like mothballs or whatever though

DMt smoke scares me a little first off it is so fucking harsh (feels like smoking fiberglass) second it is a freebase and insoluble in water and you are inhaling it into your lungs and then most of it proceeds to your blood stream then on to your brain but some residue may be left behind on the lungs.
I am worried that the lungs may not produce a mucus or fluid acidic enough to convert the freebase back into a salt so that you can digest it I think it may fuck the shit out of your lungs.
Understand I am not a biochemist doctor or even a nurse I am a second semester freshmen in college so if someone can correct me feel free.
