DONE*Unkown Purple/Orange Strain - Aerogarden - First Grow

First time growing, using the Aerogarden. Started germination around 7/25, and planted around 7/27
+4 days of growth - 7/31
+8 days of growth - 8/04 - STRESS SHIT SHIT
+12 days of growth - 8/8 - That's right no sweat
+14 days of growth - 8/10 - No more stress, rollin again
+17 days of growth - 8/13
+18 days of growth - 8/14
+22 days of growth - 8/18 - Really stoked, hadn't seen it in about 3 days, and it's doing soo good.

Can you make a few pictures of your Aerogarden? What model do you have? What is its wattage?
Can you make it completely dark in there for flowering? What about the smell of the flowers? I can't answer your question about the algea.
Looking forward to see this grow in an Aerogarden.

Unless you can extend the light up I'd go ahead and start training/pruning/flipping them now cause they're already going to be in your bulb :eek:. That's the one downside I've seen to the Aerogarden is the limited ceiling you have.

I don't know anything about the Aerogarden, but with the last picture he showed, the plant had thirty days of growth and it was as compact and short as a motherfucker. Judging by the formation of the side-branches going on, it shouldn't be very long and preflowers will be apparent... I'm not saying he's not going to have problems with that, but that plant certainly isn't stretching at all to find any light.

no point utting it out cause more will grow.  algea needs 3 things: light, food, moisture.  the easiest way to stop mold is make it dark.  put something over the are to shade it and algea should stop :smile:  cause its not like you can take away the nutes or water, or you weed dies too....but you can make the sponge area dark....which would be better for the mj roots as well.

i used to add a lil bit of h202 in hydro...

not sure if this is allowed, but it kept my algae away. but i also black taped the tops of my resevoirs...

Northern Lights-Subject#2

I haven't been taking pictures of it because it's been going crazy. It stretched all kinds because my brother has tomato plants hogging up all the light, so Subject#2 stretched it's heart out and finally got above the tomato leaves. It's growing rapidly now, but tall as a motherfucker. I'll try and get some pictures soon

You know, you're not using all of that horizontal space underneath that light, since you only have one plant there, you could bend that bitch over and train it around horizontally. You'll get better light distribution and better yield. :wink:

I can't bud it because it's too big for the aerogarden now, so my brother and i are moving it soon to either bud or make it into a mother for clones. I have 5 other unknown purple seeds for my next aerogarden grow when i move subject#1.

branching is well on it's way

If that burn is only from the lights, it should be fine as long as you don't do it again. They look very healthy if you think out the burned spots!

After I added the Aerogarden light, the last two branches that I haven't chopped are right here. I was hoping they would get better because they are so close to Aero light.

Be careful with assuming there is no odor. I have run across some strains that I swear I could run without a carbon scrubber but if someone who isn't used to the smell gets near the room, they will smell it. Some strains you just get acclimated to smelling and drown it out, if that makes sense.

Did you flush the plant towards the end? Usually the main downfall to hydro buds is that it doesn't taste as good. Let us know how it smokes.
