Haha, no switching about it.
While he was drinking mouthwash, he was also drinking about a case of beer a day, along with the aforementioned coke habit and a penchant for xanax. He talks about it in his book On Writing.

Waterfall or bucket bongs have brought me to some of the highest places I've ever been too. First time I ever had good headies was through a bucket bong. I was gone for the entire day, i was just sitting hysterically laughing at my cousins while they were vacuuming. I couldn't even control it for some reason, it was hilarious. I never lulzed like that before or after that. 
Steamrollers are damn amazing, every time I hit one I fill my lungs almost fully and then try to clear it quickly and it just punches you in the lungs and the rest goes in your stomach, hurts so good. Most people I come across have never even heard of a steamroller. Such an under-rated way of smoking.
I like bongs. Hookahs are great too.
Not a big fan of joints/blunts. I've only smoked a handful of joints before and I think I've only smoked like 4 or 5 blunts ever.

Bongs are my favorite way to smoke, but my favorite glass piece is my 2 foot steam roller.
It's surprisingly smooth to smoke out of. The smoke stays really cool and lays you out on your ass after you finish a bowl. I thought that once i got my volcano i wouldn't use anything else, however it seems to be collecting more dust then creating vapor lately.
