What do you think about it?
I dunno. I mean I am prescribed adderall so it's not like I am in any place to judge... then again when I was prescribed it I was not that young. I was pretty young when I went on zoloft but I am off of that now.
Anyway, my nine year old baby brother is going to be going on strattera. It's not my place to judge or decide what is right or wrong for him, but I have just been thinking about it a little.
I feel like I could look at it like "This is bad! You see these coroprate assholes putting little kids on amphetamines and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors... meanwhile they are also demonizing people using pot or psychedelics. Also, meth is devil in the eyes of everyone but they are fine with their children going on something very similar if not the same thing."
But I don't feel like I should go preaching this in this situation. I was prescribed drugs when I was young and I still take prescription drugs. I am happy with myself and think I turned out well but also have flaws like everyone else and I am not sure how prescription drugs affected me.

my brother is on concerta, has been for about 2 years. he is now 12. i think it is young for this type of drug but without it he wouldnt be able to do what he does in class. he is at the top of his class with these pills straight A+. If he doesnt take it he cant do so oculd, it brings out what he is.
i take vyvanse and it really helps me with my studies also. but he is a prime example
