Making hash out of stems and seeds..
    #93942 - 07/26/08 04:00 PM (8 years, 10 months ago)

Can you make hash out of leftover stems and seeds? I forget where I read about it, but I've been saving them in a glass bottle.

If not, is there anything I can use them for?

Well, duh. :nut:

But right now, that isn't an option for me, unfortunately. I live with my parents and they don't want me growing in their house. When I get my own place, I'm going all out! :yesnod:

The seeds themselves do not, but the seed cases do, and seeds often have sticky goodness on them. So rinsing them with your solvent is probably a good idea, but don't grind them. As for stems, I think so. I've been saving up stems for a while to try it myself, I'll be curious how you do.

I'd seriously doubt it would be worth the effort.

Anyways, you could eat the seeds. I like eating them on their own, but mix them in a salad or something; hemp seed is full of essential fatty acids and what, better than flaxseed oil...

Otherwise, you could give them to birds. Parakeets and cockatiels love that stuff, in my experience. :hehehe:

I use stems, pipe tar and vaporizer ash to make cannabutter.  The high from this butter puts me to sleep with tranquilizer like effects.  Not the most desirable effects but considering I used to just throw this crap away...
