Harvest Time Need responses ASAP.
    #89028 - 07/20/08 11:04 AM (15 years, 8 months ago)

Okay well, two of the plants are pretty much ready for harvest...Well as close as I can get them. I'm moving and can't transport them. The buds are about as big as my thumbnail. Maybe a bit bigger. But that's only two of my plants. I need to go ahead and pick them and cure them and all because I can't transport them. What should I do? I also want to do something with the clippings. I don't have the stuff to make hash, so I was thinking maybe cannabutter? I'm moving my shit out tomorrow, so I need some information quick. I haven't even started searching yet, i'm doing that after I finish this post. Sorry for the backwards order!

I would say just cut the plants down by the branches and then do your best to dry them between now and tomorrow. Obviously you're not going  to get it dry by the time you move, but moving a bundle of branches is easier than live plants.

huh? how big are your buds?  Thumb nail size?  That's pretty tiny, have they only been flowering for like 2 weeks or something?

If you're moving out tomorrow, you're not going to have time to dry and cure them before you move, but you could certainly take them with you and dry and cure them then. You certainly aren't going to have a lot, and it certainly isn't going to have a lot of THC, but I'm sure its smokable, at the very least. If you haven't already, look into water curing; it'll go quicker, although certainly not in one day (more like a week).

Don't bother. The time and effort you'll put into trying to extract THC from the clippings and put it into a form like that isn't going to be worth it, because your plants just haven't had enough time to develop to the point that clippings are going to have enough for it to be worth it.

Sorry about your unfortunate circumstances, hopefully the little bud you'll end up with will be enjoyable to smoke!
