How To Get Bugs Out Of Grow-Room

I been noticing that my indoor plants which are all various forms of cacti and 1 voacanga plant in a 5 gallon bucket are getting full of gnats and ants. I just brought in the voacanga to overwinter it and noticed ants all over it and for some reason there have been some gnats getting in the cacti.
Whats the best way to clear them out?

Mosquito dunks should be available locally. If you want to order something, there is a product called Gnatrol that has the same active (BT) but is super concentrated. You can find smaller amounts of that on eBay.
For the ants, maybe some terro? You kind of have to poison the queen if you want them to stop spawning, though a sticky trap beneath the pot might work to keep them contained until they run out of food.
