A Marijuana themed film.
Youtube has it for free with ads right now, so watch it while you can, because it may not be up for long. The films cycle in and out. (Papillon is on there right now too, you should definitely watch that, its a classic )
A funny old one I had forgotten about, I saw it years and years ago as a kid when my parents had just gotten the satellite dish network and suddenly I was watching all kinds of movies late at night. Tim Blake Nelson is always great, and Ed norton plays two characters, which is some movie magic! So I'm taking a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about when weed was still novel and new and admiring all the hydro and smoking scenes. And the soundtrack is great too
It's worth at least one watch. Let me know what you think!

Thanks Flea! I've never heard of the movie before, I think I may watch it with dinner tonight.

Dude that was a good movie! Made dinner and watched it with Momma Z, she really liked it too.
Having grown pot for a good portion of my life I really appreciated them using some terminology like how he uses sodium lights instead of switching to LED and explaining the NFT tables. So many movies don't research the topic they are putting on display.
Getting into the plane in the first part of the film was like flashing back to "Fight Club"

Great man! Glad you enjoyed it. I hadnt thought about it, but youre right, the plane scene does make you think of fight club. Like I said in OP, "Papillon" is on there too, and thats just an old classic. One of my favorites growing up as well. My dad showed it to me as a youngster and it really blew my mind. Worth a watch too

Sounds like our Dad's had similar tastes in movies and exposing their kids to them. I honestly don't remember much of Papillon, but the name rings a bell. Might try watching that tonight, been on a movie/TV kick lately to occupy my mind.
I love film before CGI took over... actual car wrecks, fires, explosions, not to mention firearms. Oh my fuck how it bugs me with these new shows that can't even be bothered to use blanks in their guns, just adding in CGI muzzle flash. It all seems too fake, even in the fake world of a movie.
Bring back real cinema!

yes, I sympathize, nothing like seeing an actor with a full size hand gun and they dont even bother with making it look believable at all. Just a few lame little pops, actor doesnt even pretend to experience recoil, which every kid who has ever fired a finger gun knows is an absolute must.

 Haha!
I'm the annoying little shit that interrupts a movie to say things like: "the scope is on backwards", "there aren't any casings being ejected", "that pistol has a standard mag but they haven't reloaded once after firing 50 rounds". Wonder where they come up with movie props and if the prop master knows much about what they're supplying... or if they figure most people won't notice or care.
Didn't get a chance to watch Papillon tonight, but maybe tomorrow. Gonna have to rewatch Bullitt after that one!
