Can you use solvents to make hash? I tried acetone but won’t smoke it. If it’s possible I want something that boils at room temp or near there like acetone(I think). And also does not form an azeotrope like acetone and water or maybe wait till plant matter is dry? Wouldn’t matter there would still be enough moisture to throw off the piling point.
Also anyone know where I can get a new lid and ring for this? I boiled dry the pot and now the lid is warped. The ring is gone and can no longer use to make agar. And no I don’t want to pay 35$ a lid or buy a box of 1000 to get price break. Yes i should’ve washed it out.
I was just thinking cheaply. What I really want is shatter and it’s the most expensive Set up. I think. Anything worth doing is worth going all in on though. I have a mechanical background and tooling can make stuff. Any help would be awesome yooser.
I think a rosin press might be right up your alley. You can build one from scratch or with premade parts, or buy a smaller one used if you look around.
Basically it's a hydraulic press with two heated plates, the pioneers of old used to use hair straighteners and a vice. If you're curious, search up some flower pressing videos on youtube to get an idea of how it works. It's oddly satisfying to watch.
