Drying bubble hash

Hey everyone first post on the growery
recently finished my second grow and made bubble hash with the trim, just curious how most people go about drying it? This is my second try with bubble hash and it's fairly straight forward but for the 90 and 73 micron screens when I scoop it from the bag and put it on the drying screen it'll very quickly turn to the consistency of a sappy oil. I transferred it to parchment and spread it as thinly as I could and put it in a cardboard box with a fan blowing over the top and it's mostly dried out now but a lot of the guides I read say to break it up before drying, but I don't see how when it's basically sap.
I use a 220 work bag then 160, 120, 90, 73 and 25 I'm thinking about skipping the 90 next time if anyone has any input on that as well I'd appreciate it. The first time I did it I used the 45 that came with my set but skipped it this time and glad I did.
Thanks for reading. From more research, next time I plan to freeze the whole scoop and then grate it and dry the shavings and see how that goes unless anyone has a good reason not to do that.

The first time i made bubble hash i let it dry on some carboard and it became a powder. The second time i used the pressing screen and a glass jar to press out the water. It worked great and pressed bubble hash looks just like normal hash once dried for a couple of days, and can be stored for over a year. I use fresh frozen popcorn buds and trim for bubble hash.
BTW a rolling pin will work better for pressing out the water also i use paper towels above and below the pressing screen to absorb the water, another trick is to use rubbing alcohol on the pressing screen to remove the pressed in hash.

The best way to dry bubble hash is with a freeze dryer, though obviously that can be cost prohibitive.
