 Anyone ride dirt bikes?

So a few years ago I was gifted a 1978 Yamaha YZ400. My uncle and his friend were restoring in it way back in 2003 but stopped because they could not find one part. Recently found it on ebay (intake boot). Gonna have my uncles friend (different one lol) work on it in exchange for some watermelon passion plants. Everything I read says it is considered Yamahas best bike of the decade. Super stoked to get it running. Target date is by years end. Some People suggest it can hit up to 95MPH 
I should mention I never rode a bike before. Shouod be interesting learning on such s huge bike. Weighs around 250 lbs.
So anyone else ride dirt bikes?

I did in highschool.
We are thinking about getting my kids a 50cc dirt bike or one of those mini bikes with the fat wheels.

Do it. They'll really dig it I'm sure. I had a dirt go cart when I was 10. Man hitting the desert was always fun.

If they were to do a reboot of MacGyver and I got cast in the lead role as MacGyver, instead of a Swiss Army knife I would have a dremel. I could fix any damn thing it took to get away from the bad guys. I actually am the real life MacGyver.
