They recently learned that the waters under the fastest melting glacier is a few degrees above freezing.

They found this out by drilling a 2300 foot hole and dropping a robot into that hole.
Why can't they utilize these holes by pumping cap ice from the top to underneath the glacier?
When your ice starts to melt and your drink starts to warm, you add more ice.
Then again, I guess you'd be speeding up the process by doing this. Yeah, so I don't know then. Fuck it.

Not long ago, scientists were overly alarmed about the cooling of the earth -- thinking it would freeze.
Now it's warm.
And earlier people wanted to chip away glaciers for drinking water. Get it now.
