When they ban you, they use the reason that the Shroomery is supposed to be about mushrooms -- while they simultaneously have general forums dedicated to politics, science, diy, and so forth. The truth is that they ban speech they dislike.

If I was mod, I wouldn't ban anything unless it was illegal.

Shroomery was dope in the early to mid 2000s. It's gone down hill in the past 8 years. Muphuckin cool people's either dying off or moving on.

I think that's why they have forum rules, to claim that something is "illegal" in the context of the forum prior to a deletion or content or ban.

I disagree with the whole approach of censorship on a general discussion thread. Even if I don't like the topic, if it's not breaking any rules then I'm not stepping in.

Unless its PB, then I'll ban him and all of his puppets from orbit, it's the only way to be sure...:shrug:
