Recommend me a sub amp

So my 10 in kicker blew a few months ago. Gonna replace it with a 1100w pioneer. The amp I have is 1200w. Should I double the wattage of my amp or stick with this one?

Im out of the loop on brands but it's always better to have more watts and run it low than it is to run it high. Distortion is what blows speakers.
