The cup that was.

Wow Thats freakin huge! I think I can do better with a non auto flowering plant next time . how long you veg that monster stoneth?

I want to try this but I notice when I use solos for my peppers the medium gets funky. tips?

Your Solo grows can easily pass mine. You put up the answer how in the very next post. Just stop using auto's and use regulars.

Cool , Everyone thanks for the replies . If anyone else has pics of solo cup grows . Throw up some pics lets have a solo cup thread.
Mag this was just for fun I entered in a solo cup comp on other site. I won these gen. so I used them!! They were unstable as hell.
I started nine got 9 have were all indica and the other were sativa . I think its y i won 50 auto fem lol

I know what he means. It gets all hard and funky lol more like the roots eat all the soil. like when your done its all roots .

Maybe it's called "long past a good time to transplant into an appropriate sized container." These little containers make plants look huge, then we get the weight of dried product and it's 6 grams for the entire plant.

Yeah that's not so much my problem (I'm talking about smaller pepper plants that sprouted from seed). Sometimes it looks like the top of the soil starts to develop a small amount of white (I imagine it is some kind of mold or mildew) and the leaves of the plant start to be affected.
I'm not so sure it has as much to do with the size of the container as much as it has to do with me needing to thoroughly clean the tent I'm using for veg.

Alkaline water can leave scale deposits on the soil.

I use reverse osmosis drinking water for my plants, but I do not want to derail the thread any further and might make a thread later along with pictures.

The whole point is it's not a lot of work. Plus you save money by not having to buy loads of soil to transplant.

If you use soil. These were lava rock in flood and drain.
