a lot of guys ive seen join the army do it because they feel they have no other choice, or for the money, not thinking they are going to iraq very soon.
its not worth it, imo. it may add some structure and "stability" to your life, and have some bullshit perks, but you can do all that on your own.

The people I hate most are not the fuckheads who just go to kill some towelheads, but those who sign up, then they find out there is a war, then they complain and protest and shit that they only signed up for a free education and not to go to war.
