the problem wasn't the glass on glass sticking, it slipped out right after I heated it up and turned it to take the dab, then it smashed on the floor.
I thought about vasoline right after but didn't know how it would handle the heat. Might try joint wax or bees wax if I get another quartz tip

If you need to keep the glass joints from coming apart could you use a keck clip or would it be too close to the heat or torch? Cant really picture your rig.
Most keck clips from actual chemical companies are meant to withstand heat and solvents

Looks like they have that joint wax too...says it does the same thing glycerin does but it makes them stay put instead of slipping apart...weird.
In chem class every single joint had to be lubed and then clamped with a clip.

the clip wouldnt be next to the flame but the tip does get hot, I might try getting both the clip and wax should I get a replacement quartz tip. I took this pic from deadkndys420 but I have the same one (except I paid twice as much, was 90$ plus tax at smoke shop)

So my buddy brought me another 7 grams, but this time of Harley Quinn. Smells great, kind of sticky. Also he said he grew this himself without using any nutrients or additives at all. He's 18, I'm trying to figure out how full of shit I think he is or how involved he really is with this grow.
I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, he's a super nice dude and really polite, but I get the sense he's intentionally not very clear about his actual involvement to appear like he's serving a more important function than he is.
He's 18, he'll grow out of it, I don't care, he hooks me the fuck up and that's super cool of him either way.
If he's not bullshitting me I will personally pay for a whole line of nutrients for him to play with, because he could do some amazing shit if what he is telling me is accurate.

I think its definitely worth it. The high doesnt last as long but it seems just as potent. I use hot 91 percent iso,swish it around until it's all dissolved. Then evap it on a oil slick pad and a glass dish. Everclear works best though.
I saw on a site where they teated the reclaim and it was around 58%.
