Ok so it wasn't that long of a day at work, which I'm pissed about because now we will just have to do twice as much work tomorrow. I hate working with people who don't get shit done.

Nice. I picked up one of those sidecar nails (or a banger, whatever you call it). I prefer quartz, so I'm real happy with it so far.

They're really great aren't they? I don't think you would see me posting any extract pictures up here if I hadn't discovered them.
I almost -hated- doing dabs at home, having to use a traditional rig.

just did my first dabs, I made some acetone shatter with my trim/small buds. I only have one glass baking dish so I can only evap so much at a time, the third pull acetone was evaporated which is what I tried. The stuff from the 2nd pulls are evaporating now
After removing the stems and putting through the coffee bean grinder there was 440g of dried material, had to use 4.25 gallons of acetone, I hope I get a decent yield, that's kind of a lot just to spend on solvents.
Dabs seem to go straight to your head. I think i'm going to like this. I got a nectar collector at the smoke shop yesterday. I like it, can't compare it to another set up as its the only one I've used.
It came with quartz and titanium tips, but the very first time I tried to use it the quartz fell out and smashed on the floor, titanium works well I just need a proper lighter, my alcohol burner takes forever to heat it up hot enough.

If you want get yourself a personal torch, they work well with the titanium nails.
Fuck I want to get back into dabbing but I'm on the fence about it.

They have some "joint wax" that help keep the nail and mouthpiece from coming out. six bucks for some "wax" that is the size of chapstick is a lot imo. I am pretty sure its just plain old beeswax which you can get a oz for uner 5 dollars.

In chem class we would use glycerin to prevent glass on glass joints from sticking...dont know if thats similar to what youre talkin aboit
