Haha I hope you go legal soon then my friend.
Last two of the season both 15 + feet. I harvested 1/5 of a plant recently and make some live resin(posted shots in my BHO log) but these are hardy plants. WInter temps dont scare her haha.

Yeah it can be a hassle sometimes, but the yield is worth it.

Thanks a lot man. Growing outdoors is great as you can get huge yields just have to watch out for pests and mold.

You mean.. you don't even save just a little of the flowers to smoke? Not even a taste?
I love some kief, its good. Never had bho, or "shatter" etc. so I have no idea what thats all about. Man I love the taste of different crystal buds.
When you do the bho, does it refine the taste out of it? Like if you had some diesel something, and then a vermont breeze, whatever, blue dream.. and you made bho out of each one seperatly, would the end result taste differently?

Generally no. Truth be told I am not a big fan buds(doesn't mean I wont smoke it) but I prefer wax. I have Crohns and SMAS so that maybe why, as wax directly hits you and it's much more intense, like comparing beer to hard liquor. When I do BHO I do mostly live resin(live resin is fresh material right after you cut the plant, you don't let it cure) and it carries over the terps more so then normal BHO. So it's more flavorful. Yes different strains have different tastes/terps and will taste different. Also not all strains will turn to shatter, especially if making a live resin run as the material is still alive and wet, the trichomes haven't become brittle, etc.
Take a look at my BHO thread.

Huh, like fruit roll ups. What's an average 'dose' size. What do you do, take little scissors and cut a eighth inch square off and fire it up?

It all depends on the person. Most people(escpecially if new to wax and tolerance is low) 1 hit will do you. 1 "dose" normally equates to .07 to .15. Some people do bigger some do smaller but that is the Average. This is what a .1 of wax looks like below. Now to take a dab you need something called a nail and a dabber/carb cap. You get your dabber(little metal stick basically) and press it against a small piece of wax and "snap" the wax off. Or if the wax is crumble, just press it on the dabber so it sticks, heat up your nail, and dab. They have 3 different types of nails/dabbers. Titanium(considered the best.) Ceramic(considered the most flavorful way to dab) and quartz(glass, weak, basic set up) The carb cap is optional but it allows for a bigger hit as it traps the smoke in the rig. They also have domeless nails which do not need a dome to cover the smoke. They are more expensive but work better. Below Ill attach an old video of mine with a quartz nail and dabbing. If you ever get into dabbing smaller rigs work better, try to get a titanium domeless nail/carb cap set up(look up highly educated)
