i think someone linked my thread where i mentioned that i brought a bottle of absinthe, a bottle of crown royal, a bottle of johnny walker, a philly cheese steak, fries, and a medium coke right onto the plane.

yes in the united states.  the one i brought a load of shit was from toronto to newark.  and that was one of 4 flights (2 domestic, 2 internation) that i took that month that i was carrying various liquids and foods on and off the plane.

sorry yellow I am talking about the US here. since 9/11 and more recently the shoe bomber you can't take most liquids on a plane into, out of, or around the country. It blows. if you need to bring a babies bottle you better bring powdered formula and get water on the plane.

Yeah they loosened up the rules a few months back

I remember noticing a few things were more lax the last few times I was in the airport

I went to long island for thanksgiving and I was barred the fuck out both on the way there and on the way back, had bars in my pocket and a bowl in my backpack which went through the scanner and I was fine

im not 100% sure on the liquids rule but im pretty sure if its in your checked luggage it wont matter

ive been on a few international flights in the past year too and every time ive had sketchy shit in my checked bag and got away with it
