Just curious what you guys prefer. I find low temp with a domeless ceramic nail and carb cover better then a titanium domeless nail. Imo you get much more flavor which I like.

I use a domeless ceramic with no carb cap, but for taste, I always prefer quartz nails. I usually get them slightly orange/red and then dab as it's fading out.

There is a sweetspot in between the two imo. Only ever tried titanium w/dome cuz that's what I have and am the only one around here who dabs.

No youre not.
i have a highly educated v3 domed and an infiniti domeless. I like them both, same titanium so same flavor. I dont like how the domeless is narrow in the center though because it adds a lot of drag and feels like hitting a clogged bowl.
i agree about the sweet spot...too low and it doesnt hit fast enough and too hot and its a lil harsh. I have never used a carb cap though.
i also have never used anything other than titanium and glass...but glass sucks. I did have a quartz "worm" at one point that was really really badass until it broke.

Thats pretty surprising, I was expecting the opposite (well for me thats how it works with a vape, not dabs, too much heat = cough, lower heat = no cough)
I've never done dabs so maybe its a normal thang

But too hot also is just harsh. The oil in the lungs thing is a common complaint i hear especially when taking huge dabs

I've been using a quartz d-nail for about a year now. Before that I had the d-nail with a titanium nail. Prior to that I had a Highly educated Infiniti nail. Prior to that I used an 18mm domeless dab essentials nail. Prior to that I used an 18mm ti nail with a dome, which was a ridiculous thing to show new people. I can't imagine what the next step in this progression will be, but I am excited for it. Currently the nail is heated to 720 degrees. I thoroughly clean the shit off it every week or so. But it is left on all day, every single day. So we can just walk over and freely dab whenever we want, no torch necessary. it's the best option for introducing people to dabs. Low-temp electronic dabbing is the way to go, without a doubt.
