Honey as a rooting agent?

My friend was telling me to use honey as a rooting agent just plain honey does anyone know if this works?

Yes it works but not well. Willow tree branches work better. Soak them in water for a few days and then soak the cuttings in that water. The willow trees have a fairly high amount of a natural rooting hormone. Honey doesn't have any rooting hormone but keeps rot from forming on the stem. Ever notice how you can leave honey out and it never goes bad. Whatever causes that protects the stem.
Just buy some gel it's gonna work much better then either method.

Shit dude i root alot of my clones just in water!
But if I take more than ten I use sum kind of root gel/powder.
And I found that the walmart brand gave me the most roots in the least time.
