right... cause it will be much easier to load this page and a calculator than type it in the address bar " # units to new_units" and let google do the math. :stoned:

try googling "5ml to tbsp" or any other unit conversion, temperature, weight, volume, etc...

If you know how to use CTRL+L to select the address bar, ALT+ENTER to load a new tab if you want to stay on your page, and search from address bar is enabled, your set for a lot of things.

Great information, but a bit dated these days to look up data in a table--some of my calculus instructors had to do that, now its built into the computer as a function. It should include the above technique in the thread if you want to make it sticky-thread worthy.

Only when talking about water or near-water fluid (similar density and surface tension) being administered from a medicine dropper at exactly 1G (32 ft/sec2 or 9.81 m/22, which can vary slightly depending on location and elevation.

Different densities, different surface tensions, different vessels of administration (say a beaker, graduated cylinder, measuring cup, anything different from a standard medicine dropper) can change the volume of a drop, which can add up to a significant error when stacked up 20, 30, 60 times (depending on what dropper device you are using).

Just something to keep in mind :elmo:

Yea liquid karma certainly doesn't follow that as a rule. It's still almost always close enough if you are measuring small amounts. Might be good to know if you have no other way to measure

To be completely honest.....it didn't do jack shit for me. I noticed no difference between using it and not using it. I will say I could have set them back about a week with the nute burn, but there were no indications of burn on the leaves, just really slow to no growth for about a week.
After that the plant bounced back and it was like it never happened.

It might help clones or seedlings, but I think my bottle is just gonna collect dust for now. If it aint broke don't fix it.

This stuff is a lot like superthrive http://www.discount-hydro.com/products/Technaflora-Thrive-Alive-B%252d1.html There is also a organic version http://www.discount-hydro.com/products/Technaflora-B.C-Thrive-Alive-Green.html

I myself never noticed any difference in the plants health or yield using superthrive but I did notice a higher rate of hermies so it was eliminated.

I can't wrap my head around why fluid oz to ml is 34 but ml to oz is 30. even If one is capacity and one is weight. I needed to look up oz to ml since maxicrop says to use 1oz/gal on seedlings, which seems like a lot.

I kind of just assumed superthrive is vitamin b and only popular because the bottle is covered in self accolades and some weird challange that no one can actually win. Maybe it's effective marketing.

You know its fucked up you say that.
I keep journals of my grows, just different weird shit that happens, if it does, and the only plant I have ever had so far to hermie ended up being the one I overdosed on Superthrive.
Luckily I keep tabs on my grows.

I agree with the hermie issue. I am not a vet grower but the fact that the only hermie I ever got was from the same issues makes you wonder.

Superthrive is on Wikipedia. it says "It contains ".09% vitamin B1, .048% 1-Naphthyl acetic acid",[1] plus over 50 secret proprietary ingredients that the company does not disclose." Naphthyl acetic acid is a plant hormone so maybe that had something to do with the hermaphrodites. don't know but I had first heard of superthrive as a potential solution for a broken seedling root.
