I like it a lot. Very sweet tasting. The smell reminds me of blue dream. Definitely sativa dominate. Great strain all around.

Anyway, GSC does not even have cherry pie in it, that's the biggest mistake people make. Matter of fact, I got some cuttings the other day and 2 of them are supposed GSC, I just went along with it even though I know they probably aren't. I'll just call em Myco-cookies.

i think everything about GSC has been blown out of proportion. its good, but its not THAT good. i hear people talk about it like they've never smoked weed before. its always on the "platinum" shelf at pink house. $55 an 8th (member prices) shits not worth it. its like that anywhere that sells good GSC. they overcharge for it because people think its some mythical strain. so while people spend 55 an 8th on that i get a quarter of top shelf for 70, that tastes and looks just as good if not bette than GSC.
that being said, i'm smokin on some Flo. bout to go check out the trichs on my plants. should be ready by now... just interviewed at some dispensary. not the most ideal place. not very good bud. but i need a job, and MMJ industry experience.

im pissing on the fact that GSC is supposed to be a golden god of weed strains to some people, yes. but i'm definitely not saying it's not worth growing. i'd grow it if i had seeds or clones, but it just isnt really all that special IMHO. theres a ton of other strains i'd grow or buy before GSC.
really, i think theres too much hype surrounding GSC.

Yea there's a lot of hype, but it's fucking chronic whether you like it or not 
It's not my favorite strain either by any means, there's others I'd choose first. But I'd say that batch I got of it ranks among the top 10 buds I've ever smoked in my life. Whether it's because the strain is awesome or the grower is awesome or both, I dunno.
Pineapple Express also got loads of hype (mainly because of the movie, I know) and I honestly I grew that strain and thought it sucked ass. The flavor is terrible.

Im not disagreeing with you about there being to much hype around GSC because there is too much hype . Your hatred for GSC is purely coming from the strain Fad surrounding GSC lets hate the fad not the strain honestly I do want to try growing GSC if possible but tracking down the real genetics sounds like a pain but maybe im wrong .
I don,t think there would be this much hype about a strain unless it was actually good it certainly can,t be horrible
