slept in til 4 today, then spent the day sitting around in my pajamas playing mario kart and posting. It's been uneventful, but absolutely relaxing. Went out and blew 80 bucks at outback last night (mmmm prime rib), then went to my buddies place and lit off some bad ass fireworks.

Not everything would be better on E. Sometimes it's nice to soak up the satisfaction of a work well done. Cannabis is the only drug I need for an epic time, though I don't impute that on others.

i'm not a big fan of E.
again, some of the best times of my life have been totally sober, and by best i mean best. conversely, some of the worst times in my life have been while on drugs.
i'd much rather just enjoy being alive, totally sober, than feel good while rolling, because when sober the enjoyment is real, almost tangible. while rolling, sure, i'm having a great time, but it feels fake and forced almost. i'd much rather enjoy life sober than be fucked up all the time.

Sure drugs can lead to epic adventures, but they're not a necessary ingredient, and at times can even detract from the experience (like trying to fuck while shitface drunk)
