Same here I call weed dope all the time way up here in the northeast. But there isnt much real "DOPE" in these parts. Heroin or opiates.
now when I lived in the bay area of Cali a few years ago I stopped calling it dope real quick. People loked at me funny. Haha

in high school when ever my mom would see my pipes in my room she always said "put that HASH PIPE away, before your sister sees it"
every pipe was considered a "hash pipe" to her.

We called it dope back in the day but the young kids tell me that means hard drugs now.
Times change.
