Kicking myself for not having used this as part of the rotation thus far this year, but definitely larvae (of some kind) burrowing around in a number of the stems, petioles, & buds. Picked 'em off as much as I see, & made an effort recently to really get the buds well when spraying other stuff. Is it too late this year to start using Bt if crop will be harvest around the end of the month, or could it still be of benefit? Also, any special way to use it at this stage... was planning on taking a small little spray bottle and taking the time to hit every bud with many mists to try to get it to penetrate down in there.
So if anyone could share some experiences with this kind of product, either preventative or after the infection has begun, that would very helpful. I searched and only got one thread that mentions Bt, "Destroying budworms", which didn't have any specifics or even it seems anyone speaking from experience.
